Your local QLD car service in Townsville LM Motors can service your new car while keeping your dealership warranty intact.

Your Manufacturers Log Book provides recommended service intervals, procedures and inspection points as recommended service for your new car. If you need service during your new car warranty period, call LM Motors or book a service online!

It is not compulsory to have your car serviced at a dealership to maintain your new car warranty. Our  65 Point Vehicle Inspection report means we will also be checking for warning signs in many components of your vehicle which could be covered under your warranty - allowing you to address these faults while the vehicle is under warranty.

What is a New Car Warranty?

Under the federal consumer warranty laws every new vehicle is covered by Statutory warranty. No need to sign a warranty contract or pay extra for a statutory warranty - it exists, by law, without any of this. Should any faults become apparent within the first few years of ownership and provided the vehicle has been properly used and maintained, the manufacturer is obliged to remedy or repair the fault at no cost to you.

Should I follow the dates in Log Book?

Absolutely yes! To enjoy your new car feeling longer, you should definitely take your car in for inspections when prompten by your car manufacturers Log Book. By taking your vehicle to LM Motors, you make sure that your car is properly serviced and maintained "by the book". Leaving the car unattended for too long will significantly decrease the expluatation time of your car and even may reduce the vehicle maneuvering experience by lesser effectiveness of lubrication, cleaning and engine cooling.

What if I only drive to work and shops?

Your vehicle needs more frequent servicing if used under abnormal driving conditions. Examples of such conditions are frequent braking, mountain driving, fast accelerating, short distances - basically most everyday commuting for work and groceries...

When inspecting your car by the guidelines in Log Book you will be maintaining your vehicle in the safest, most reliable state. It will also mean your car is kept in its peak performance state - extending the life of your car and avoiding any nasty, unexpected breakdowns or repairs.
Following your car’s log book schedule will also help to maintain a higher resale value if you ever decide to sell your car.
